Self Uniting Wedding Ceremony of Mia + JasonPhiladelphia Wedding Photographer

I’ve been photographing weddings for nearly 18 years now and had thought I saw it all. This was a first for me. A self uniting wedding ceremony. In Philadelphia an officiant is not required to perform the wedding ceremony. A couple can marry themselves in the presence of friends. They just need the signature of a few witnesses. It originated from Quaker and Amish traditions and is perfectly legal in the city of brotherly love. This only added to Mia and Jason’s one of a kind wedding. After the completion of their ceremony Greek dancers filled the room in honor of the grooms heritage and the Greek bsad played during the cocktail hour. More unique things to come in the reception!
