Cities of the World

What a wonderful adventure I had last weekend photographing a most beautiful Bat Mitzvah at the Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia. It was the amazing creation of Donna O’Brien Of Beautiful Blooms. I wanted to share the very creative idea for table tops that they put together. The theme was cities of the world and every table was a different city with beautiful floral centerpieces depicting the city. Guests were given “boarding passes” to their special destination. I hope to share some more images of the great party with you next week. Bon Voyage!

Kathi + Gil 4.11.09

I actually got to be a guest at a wedding and was able to drink mojitos! What fun! My friend, wedding photographer Kathi Littwin married her long time love Gil in the town that they love, New York City this past Saturday! I was honored that she asked me to photograph their wedding portraits. Just like a wedding photographer she planned for 3 hours of pictures all around the city, but just like April, it RAINED!!!! With the wedding gods on her side the rain finally subsided around 45 minutes before her ceremony. We we able to get in 30 minutes of portraits on the way to their ceremony at the City Hall Restaurant in Tribeca. Congratulations Kathi and Gil and best wishes for a picture perfect life!

Kathi had this great idea to “strike a pose” in front of this storefront. Gil has obviously seen the movie Zoolander!! It was great fun!

The Knot Best of Weddings 2009!!!

Once again I was honored to be listed among my area’s favorite wedding photographers in The Knot Best of Weddings 2008/2009! What that means is that I’ve been recognized by my brides who were thrilled with my photography services. I wanted to send out a big ‘thank you’ to all those who voted for me and for the kind words you had to say about my photography.

Beautiful Blooms Boutique

I just wanted to give a “shout out” to my florist friend Donna O’Brien of Beautiful Blooms. As many of you may notice I do quite a few amazing weddings with her each year. Well, being an extraordinary entrepreneur, Donna just opened up a floral boutique in Liberties Walk in Philadelphia. I dropped by the other day and was just blown away by all the eye candy. She has everything from candles, vases, books and of course, flowers. I wish her great success in her new venture. If you are ever in Philadelphia and might need a gift or two definitely check out her new boutique at 1021 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia!

More Fresh!

As I said a few days ago, I was in aesthetic heaven at the 2009 Industry Showcase of the Philadelphia chapter of ISES. I thought I’d share some images of this amazing assembly of Philadelphia talent. I know my couples are always looking for new and “Fresh” design ideas and vibrant color were definitely the story of the day! Event designers, florists and caterers combined their efforts in pods and competed for the “Grand prize”! I know you will agree that they were all winners! I’m not even going to try to mentions all the wonderful vendors, but if there is any design you would like to know the specifics about you can shoot me off an email! Enjoy!
