Stonehenge Revisited

Well, I’m FINALLY getting around to working on my images from my “Grand Tour” of London and Paris last summer. The trip was a lifelong dream of mine and I now have 80 countries on my bucket list. Next summer my grandson and I will be taking the second leg of our tour and will be visiting Italy! Working on the images has brought back so many wonderful memories. The first sight we saw was Stonehenge. I remember the feeling that I must be dreaming when we drove upon the field. It is such an iconic sight, I thought I was dreaming! Here are a few of my favorites. I’ll be sharing some more images of our trip in the weeks to come. I think I’ve found a new interest in travel photography.

Mindy + Ben

The city of Philadelphia is known for its many murals and there is one that has been “calling” to me for awhile now. I was so fortunate to be photographing an engagement session with Mindy and Ben in the Northern Liberties section of the city so I finally got to photograph it. I just LOVE this backdrop. Mindy said that in graduate school she did a research paper on the murals, so it was all the more meaningful! I’ll be photographing Mindy and Bens urban chic wedding in May. Can’t wait!

Bloged again…. on The Brides Cafe

For those of you who can’t get enough of a fabulous wedding check out todays edition of The Brides Cafe. Janie is featuring the amazing wedding of Beka and Jesse Rendell. The story is really great as Beka goes into detail about their romantic story and the planning of her beautiful wedding. It’s always interesting to see how an event planner plans her own wedding. Beka is a Philadelphia event planner and her company is Styled Creative.

Hair!!!

What fun I had yesterday when I finally got to see the new Broadway production of “Hair“. My mother would not let me see it the first time around on Broadway and it closed before I was old enough to go on my own. Well, what luck, it actually opened again on Broadway and I made sure to see it opening week. I felt like as teenager again, which was definitely worth the price of admission. I would say it is a definite “must see”! PEACE!

WPPI Winners

I just found out that the 3 images I submitted in the yearly Wedding and Portrait Photographers International print competition in Las Vegas last month won awards. I received 3 Accolades of Excellence (which translates to awards). It’s always such a huge honor as the WPPI competition has thousands of print entries from photographers all around the world. Here are my 3 winners.
