Mamma Mia – It’s a Winner!

I’m so sorry I have not been posting as frequently but I am so busy working on those amazing projects I told you about. I should start posting again real soon. I though I’d share with you another winner! This past January I won the Philadelphia Magazine Photo Contest (for the 4th month in a row)!!! I won first place in the photographers’ choice. The past 3 months I took 1st place for portraits. I LOVE this “Mamma Mia” picture from the Alyssa and James wedding and am so thrilled she won!

Things to come!

As some of my loyal following might have noticed, I have not been posting as zealously as during my “wedding season”. I have been commissioned to photograph some truly amazing weddings in my 2009 season but they won’t be starting until spring. Being the workaholic that I am I have been very busy with “projects” so don’t worry I’ll have some very special postings in store for everyone. My BIGGEST project is a brand new web site. Yes, people truly love my current site but 2009 marks my 10th year as a wedding photographer and I have had the same site all these years. I figure it’s time for a change. I’ve put it off for so long because I never found a design that inspired me but now I’m inspired. I promise you the new site is going to be truly amazing and will highlight everything from my wedding imagery to my albums. Working day and night for the next month my site should be making its big debut by March 1st. Other projects are some fantastic fashion shoots. You know my passion for fashion!! And let’s not forget my images from London and Paris. Zac and I plan to work on the images over the winter and print up a coffee table book. I need to really finish those images before we set off on the second leg of our “grand tour” this summer to Italy, and Brussels! During my winter hibernation, I’d also like to know if there is anything you would like me to talk about in my blog. Maybe I can hit on a few interesting topics. Anyway, please stay with me even if I post less frequently. There are many great things to come.

Stephanie + Frank in New Jersey Bride Magazine

Congratulations to Stephanie and Frank on the beautiful feature article of their Bonnet Island Estate wedding in the current issue of New Jersey Bride Magazine. Magazines are always looking for picture perfect details and Michelle at MDS Floral Designs certainly provided that. It’s always a pleasure to photograph at Bonnet Island Estates and I get most of my Bonnet weddings featured because it’s so darn charming!.

What I do for love!

With my final wedding of 2008 behind me and my first of many amazing weddings for 2009 not starting until spring it’s a great time for me to jump into some creative editorial work. I love my editorial as I can play around with new creative photographic and post production techniques! It helps me grow as an artist! The Please Touch Museum located in Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park was the setting for this most inspired creation. What an amazing team she put together. The creative team at Beautiful Blooms did the most amazing flowers. The focus of the shoot was tabletop design but this time we added a model and gowns to the mix. Kendall will be sharing the images of the table décor ideas on her blog in the months to come, so make sure you check her out for wonderful ideas. Mary Helen Ranieri of Suky Occasions provided the most beautiful gowns and Claudia Seyler provided the hair and makeup for our model Oksana. I’d though I’d share with you some of the model images. I’m so excited as I have a bridal editorial shoot scheduled in NYC next week. Winter is fun!!!
