Aimee was all smiles and laughs from morning to night as was her husband to be Matt. A truly joyas day. This photographer was very happy too, as it was my first time photographing a wedding at the Free Public Library of Philadelphia. A rooftop reception was planned. How perfect is that. I knew Aimee’s gown would be outstanding.  Her mother is a long time bridal consultant at The Wedding Shoppe in Wayne, PA. I was not disappointed with her stellar Ines de Santo gown. The couple had their first look at one of my favorite locations in Philadelphia, The Rodin Museum, and we walked along the parkway to the library. More to come.

I love a bride that likes to take chances. Though the weather forecast was for rain Kathleen really wanted that beautiful outdoor ceremony. It was tense. Moments prior to their ceremony a mist started falling from the sky. Karma was on her side. As soon as she began her walk down the asile the rain stopped and she had the most beautiful ceremony. It’s been quite awhile since I photographed a wedding at Appleford Estate in Villanova, PA. It’s so lush and beautiful, just as I remembered it. Kathleen and Geigers fist look was just so touching. They both cried. I just loved these town romantic compatible souls. Their dog baby Kaylee even showed up for her family portrait but she she declined to attend the ceremony. Totally loved Kaylee’s floral wreath by Nancy Samm Flowers.
