Can I have a little light?

I finally shot my first wedding of the season last weekend. I can’t wait to share it with you. I was a very amazing event at the brand new venue One Atlantic in Atlantic City. In the meantime, while I’m feverishly working my magic, I thought I’d share with you some of my stock images of amazing lighting. Photography is basically capturing light. If there is no light there is nothing to capture. As a photographer I am always looking for good light. Of course, there is nothing I love more than beautiful long tables set up in a shaded glen, but in the northeast very few are willing to take that sort of chance. Here are a few examples of very grand lighting. It’s probably one of the least expensive additions you can do to create a very grand effect!

This wedding had a lovely orange pattern cast on the ceiling of the tent

This tent was all aglow with a red dance floor and yellow ceiling

The Franklin Institute comes with it’s own lighting package. I loved the cloud effect on the rotunda!

This is at Capitale in NYC. The same room was used for the next image. Lighting can totally change the feeling of your room.

The decor was mostly white but the pink lighting changes everything.

The pink became more intense as night fell.
