Style…
Every artist has their own unique and personal style, and so do you. Find that wedding photographer with the style that speaks to you and you will be thrilled with your wedding photographs. The reason I share so many weddings on my web site and blog is so you can get a real sense of my style. I want us to have sort of a marriage of artistic sensibility. Only you can know if I’m the one. As an artist, my subject matter has predominantly been people, their stories, their emotions, and their hearts. I have explored this fascination in many artistic mediums, from theater as an actress and director, to music as a singer/songwriter and as a writer. Back in the 90’s I found photography and it has been my primary medium ever since. What a story photography can tell. A moment captured in time; shared forever. A visual story that needs no words. A photograph can tell a story in a single image, or as in a wedding, chronicle a day in a life, like a storybook. I am sometimes told that my work looks different. I see it as pure and timeless.. The colors are real, the black & whites true. I like to think of my images as timeless and speaking to the heart. My style, like my brides, has been described as “classic,” “timeless” with a “sweet feminine romanticism.”
