Many of my Philadelphia wedding couples choose to go to several locations around the city for their wedding portraits. Not Yasmina and John. The locations for their ceremony and reception were so beautiful they chose to have their portraits right there. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church was so beautifully adorned in shades of lavender and check out the opulent decor of  The Academy of Music . Next I’ll share the many details of this stellar reception.

Last month I shared Yasmina and Johns rehearsal dinner at the Barnes Foundation. I am sure everyone would agree it was as beautiful as any wedding. Well, their wedding images have arrived. I had to wait for their wedding to be featured in Modern Luxury Wedding Philadelphia Magazine. It’s out on the stands so it is a must read for future brides (and grooms). I’ll be sharing the magazine feature shortly also. For now, let’s start with their wedding day preparations.  They say it takes a village but this wedding took countries….. from Pairs to Lebanon. If you check out the vendor list at the bottom of this post you will see how very many it too and it was all tied together by the most amazing wedding planner, Gina Sole. Congrats to Gina, this most amazing, beautiful and complex wedding just flowed along seamlessly. The bride, groom and family just flowed along enjoying the love and romance of the day. Check our Yasmina’s most beautiful Giorgio Armani Prive gown. Giorgio Armani did the final fitting in Paris. Left me breathless. Our groom John’s was a custom Armani also. A VERY fashionable pair. Yes, this beautiful event was the rehearsal dinner. Can you just imagine the wedding to follow. The always amazing event planner Gina Sole pulled this all weekend wedding celebration together with so many talented vendors from around the world. WOW! Starr Events provided the fabulous food. It was such a diverse and international menu, both in the cocktail hour and the the lovely buffet dinner spread. One of the brides many passions was ballroom dancing and the guests were treated to performances by some of the countries top ballroom dancers. To finish off the evening Yasmina performed a beautiful dance for all her guests. It was magic!

It was my first time photographing a wedding at the Avalon Yacht Club  so I was very excited. Flying high over the yacht club was Caroline and Andrews signature flag!
