Meghan + Peter 09.25.10 – Part 4
As I finished Meghan and Peters portraits on the steps of Cliveden, guests were enjoying a very special cocktail hour on the grounds, complete with long farm tables (my favorite). Check out the totally outrageous seafood bar ice sculpture. It was an amazing presentation. Beka Rendell of Styled Creative had so many special details that added to the fresh country feel that was the couples vision for the day. I loved the couples initials carved in wood, the Mr. & Mrs. signs and the bush with the place cards. A departure from the usual, there were three florists used on this wedding. As I mentioned Rhodes Garden did the ceremony, Beautiful Blooms did the personal flowers and Flourtown Farmers Market did the table decor for the reception. A very green theme, the table were decorated fruits and veggies! A VERY friendly couple, Meghan, Peter and all their friends and family joyfully danced the night away!
Meghan + Peter 09.25.10 – Part 3
Well, talk about a Friendly couple. Check out the size of this bridal party!!!! It reminds me of a very friendly couple whose wedding I photographed earlier this year. Yes, Peter is the brother of Aimee whose wedding I photographed in June. They also had a 20+ bridal party. What a friendly family! I often do sibling weddings but this was my first time in the same year. Check back for some very country charming details in the cocktail hour and reception at Cliveden!
Simple and sweet bouquet by Beautiful Blooms.
Meghan + Peter 09.25.10 – Part 2
There were so many charming country details to Megan and Peters wedding. Beka Rendell of Styled Creative worked with Megan to come up with so many special details. I loved the antique signage that greeted to guests at the sign-in table. A little staging area was set up for Meghan and her girls to freshen up complete with a little desk and mirror. Too cute. The lovely ceremony flowers complete with burlap runner was by Rhoads Garden. The children in the bridal party got a special ride in an antique wagon owned by the family. It was decorated by flowers by Beautiful Blooms, who also did the bouquets. Their late afternoon ceremony was held on the steps of historic Cliveden. Check back for more adorable details.
Meghan + Peter 09.25.10 – Part 1
Meghan and Peter have such a marvelous love story. They met at the Germantown Academy and shared their first kiss in middle school. Together for so many years, it was finally time for the ultimate step. I love their story. Earlier this year I photographed Peters sister Aimee’s wedding and I was so delighted to be back with the wonderful group of family and friends. Meghan prepared at her family’s home in Philadelphia. It was love at first sight when I saw her very ethereal Romona Keveza gown paired with a perfect pair of peachy Christian Louboutin shoes. On our way to her ceremony at the historic 18th century estate in Philadelphia named Cliveden, we stopped off at the historic Chestnut Hill trolley stop for a quick bridal party picture. On hand was event planner Beka Rendell of Styled Creative. I knew she had allot of charming details waiting for me at Clivenden to photograph.
