Nothing says summer for me than going “up on the roof”. I loved the black & white tarp on the roof top patio of the Chelsea Hotel. How perfect was that as a backdrop for some portraits. We then took a stroll down to the beach and there were many “props” waiting for us. The groomsmen blew off a little steam running barefoot on the beach and then Jessica and Doug had a little “alone time”. I thought Jessica’s Lazaro gown was a perfect style for both the beach and a formal evening wedding. Check back for another amazing wedding at One Atlantic, located on a pier over the Atlantic Ocean! The sunset ceremony was stunning!

Finally a real beach wedding! I have been missing those ocean breezes all summer. I was down in Atlantic City for Jessica and Doug’s beautiful wedding at One Atlantic. Beka Rendell of Styled Creative was on hand to provide many special details of the day. A real find was the most adorable hotel, The Chelsea, where the couple prepared for their day. It had the edgiest little rooftop garden were we went with the couple and their bridal party for pictures. Stay tuned tomorrow for the pics. I’d like to welcome Melissa B. to my talented team of second shooters. Check out the marvelous groom pictures she took. I love talent and she was a real find. I’m really looking forward to working with her in my 2011 season!

Twilight at the National Constitution Center is a beautiful thing. The glow is candlelight on the stairs greeted guests to a lovely sunset reception. The beautiful decor was the creation of Beautiful Blooms Events. It was great to work with the videographers of Cinema Cake again. I can’t wait to see the video of this really fun wedding. A fitting end to a classic military wedding is cutting the cake with a sword. Careful with that sword Ali!!!

Ali and John returned to the beautiful National Constitution Center for their ceremony and reception. Their Ketubah signing was held in an exhibit room filled with life size bronze statues of all the signers of the constitution. Always playful, after the signing Ali had a little fun with Benjamin Franklin and her bouquet. The ceremony was beautifully designed and executed by Beautiful Blooms Events. They had a little forest of trees inside the the very contemporary and urban chic Constitution Center. The chuppa was covered by one of Alis grandmother’s tablecloths. An Arch of Swords was a fitting end to this lovely military wedding.
