Aimee + Justin 06.19.10 – Part 1

I think everyone is going to love this charming “Philadelphia Wedding”. It’s the sweetest summer wedding in hues of coral and real. Aimee and Justin live in the San Francisco Bay area where they both work as teachers in the same school but Aimee knew there was only one location for her wedding reception, her parents home were she grew up in the quaint town of Chestnut Hill. Their wedding invitation reflected their journey from San Fransisco to Philadelphia to be wed with a belly band showing their route! Aimee’s gown was a darling Angel Sanchez paired with a perfect pair of coral Christian Louboutin shoes. She met her dashing “groom-to-be” prior to the ceremony for some portraits. Event Stylist, Beka Rendell of Styled Creative (notice the new branding) had the adorable Thank You signs made for the couple. It’s an adorable theme she carried out in the wedding. More to share tomorrow!

Susan + Tony 07.24.10 The Party

I already shared the beautiful details of their wedding reception at Mallard Island. I thought I share a few images of their party. After a romantic first dance, Susan and Tony were serenaded by Susan’s father on his guitar. Later in the evening Susan had a dress chance for an evening of dancing. She had this little number customized by Gabriella New York Bridal Salon. I believe it was originally a long gown! Tony then play the drums along with the band. What a fun party!

Susan + Tony 07.24.10 – The Details

There were so many special details to this wedding I thought I’d share just a few with you in this post. The sweet Summer bouquets by Beautiful Blooms looked very fresh in the 103 temperatures. The beautiful decor was designed and and perfectly executed by Beautiful Blooms Events. Remember the ceremony was all in a pale turquoise and now you can see the cocktail hour was in red and the reception was in purple. It just goes to show you don’t have to settle on one color scheme. The couples cakes were by the Cake Boss himself, Carlos Bakery. The couples cake was Carlos vision of the historic city of Prague. It was in the city of Prague that the couple fell in love. How romantic! Both musicians, the couple were on tour in Prague with their collage orchestra and love happened. I was hoping to be as lucky on my trip to Prague but none such luck! Ah well, maybe next trip! The grooms cake was a drum as Tony is a percussionist.

Susan + Tony 07.24.10 – The Ceremony

Though the temperature was edging on 103 degrees the ocean breezes kept things comfortable in the open boat house of Mallard Island. The pale turquoise décor also had a “cooling” effect. I particularly loved the turquoise and white “waves” of fabric gracing the aisle.
