A long awaited event for me, my first wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club on Long Beach Island, NJ. It’s a beautiful new venue “down the shore” and I couldn’t wait to finally photograph a wedding there. Susan wore a beautiful Vera Wang gown paired wait a very sparkly pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. I’m sure all their guests knew they were in for a very special wedding when their Save the Date and Invitations arrived. Check out the magnificent stationary by Two Paper Dolls of Philadelphia! There was even a cutout band on the couples invitation and 3 different wedding program covers. I love visual design and these were a treat. Claudia Seyler was on hand for makeup and hair for everyone and dresser Brenda Olivas made sure Susan was perfectly dressed and even tied the perfect “Vera Wang” sash! I love the 2 moms looking on! Susan and Tony had a “first look” prior to their ceremony. They had wanted to do some couple pictures ahead of time but the afternoon temperature was 103 degrees! We decided to be a little flexible and wait until the sun went down a bit. Stay tuned for an amazingly beautiful ceremony designed by Beautiful Blooms Events .
More Things to Come….
OK, so I’ve been so busy with weddings, editorial shoots and world travel that I’ve been a little remiss in posting some of my e-sessions. I realized one of my couples is being married tomorrow so what better time to do an engagement post.
Well, it’s about time I posted their engagement portraits! Charlene and Simon are going to be married tomorrow in a lovely garden ceremony at the Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale, NJ.
Alissa and Brett will be married in November of 2011 at the Stonehouse at Sterling Ridge.
A Princeton Alumni, I’ll be photographing Linda and Gregory’s wedding next April at Princeton Chapel. You know if will be beautiful!
I’ll be photographing Clair and Ryan’s Princeton wedding this coming December. Their reception will be at the beautiful Prospect House, on the Campus of Princeton University.
Katherine and Brendan will be married at The Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia later this month. Beautiful Blooms Events will be designing this grand affair. The couple actually had a “commuting” relationship for many years (Philadelphia/Washington DC). They wanted their engagement portrait to be at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia where they ofter met for weekend dates!

Connecticut Wedding of Victoria + Monica 07.04.10 – The Party!
Tory and Monica had a vision for their wedding celebration of Miami Beach (Monica) meets New England(Tory) with a touch of NYC diversity (both) put in the mix. The reception tent was decorated with succulents and candles with Edison light bulbs lighting the tent. There was a bonfire seating area for guests and a beer wagon draped in red white and blue full of Budweiser on tap. A cigar roller was there to provide guests with hand rolled “Cuban” cigars. With their party “Cowboy boots” on the couple partied the night away!
Connecticut Wedding of Victoria + Monica 07.04.10 – Some More Portraits
After a little time alone in the boathouse, Tory’s dad offered to take the couple for a little ride on the family’s prized Hinckley Picnic Boat. What fun! It was just a perfect 4th of July. After our ride Tory and Monica returned to the boathouse and put on the wedding “cowboy boots” to prepare for an evening of festive dancing!
