Marie and Zac’s European Adventure – Part 3

Today Zac and I will be departing for round 3 of our “Grand Tour”. So very special to me, I will be returning to the “mother country”. I am Slovak and though it was my great grandparents that immigrated to this country and I was never taught the language (it was spoken as a secrete code in my home), there is something very special about seeing the land of your ancestors. I’m the first of my relatives to ever visit Slovakia. Just as special, my grandson Zac is an American/eastern Europe melting pot. His heritage is Slovak, Hungarian, Polish, Czech and German. We will be visiting all the countries of his heritage. I am going to try to post my “picture of the day” while traveling and when I return I’ll share more of the highlights of our trip. Zbohom!

So much love… so little time!

This has been a banner Summer for so many charming weddings, engagements and editorial shoots. I been so busy shooting and working on the images (OCD), that I have not had time to share them all with you. August has arrived and that means it’s that time of year for Round 3 of my Grand tour. When I return I’ll have many beauties to share with you, but for now, it’s packing time! Please stay tuned for the story of my latest adventure!

Jennifer+ Michael 07.10.10

Jennifer and Michael had some very lovely details to their day. Their ceremony and reception were held in the same ballroom at the Bellevue. That’s quite a feat to make the transformation in just an hour. The team of Gina Sole and Table Art made the transition go very smoothly. I particularly loved the flowers set in ice on the guest card table and the couples initials made of flowers on the backs of their chairs. Jennifer got a little too playful during the cake cutting but Michael got her back with a big kiss!
