May 25, 2010 Little Ones

Some of you may remember the VERY special Baby Shower I photographed recently for Evantine Design. Well the very lucky baby of this very special shower arrived early this month and I had the pleasure of photographing her at only 4 days old. Little Addisons’ Aunt Monica had great fun shopping for her and found this amazing hot pink tutu. I brought my 60’s vintage leopard skin cape which I photographed my own grandson on when he was a babe! I am really finding an art to newborns and I am looking forward to photographing many of my couples arrivals! All the best to Addie and her family!

May 22, 2010 Weddings

Alex and Sean were all smiles as they walked down the steps of Saint Georges as man and wife! We took a quick trip over to the Second Bank of the United States for some portraits. Thank goodness we did. It was a VERY windy day and the bank blocked the wind. Perfect! There reception was at the historic Union League of Philadelphia and it was lit perfectly by Eventions Productions. You could see their dance lessons paid off as Sean and Alex did a perfect dip in their first dance!

Check out this recent event I photographed for Evantine Design. It took place at the very “Urban” headquarters of Urban Outfitters in Philadelphia. Today it being featured on one of my favorite blogs, Elizabeth Anne Designs. Designer Melissa Paul of Evantine put together this eye candy of collector tins filled with an awesome array a varied flowers. Combine that with rustic wood long tables and I was in love. It really provides some great inspiration of how to incorporate your collections into your wedding day!

I loved Alexandras very romantic layered lace gown. I had never heard of the designer before. It was an Alita Graham gown which is carried exclusively by Kleinfeld Bridal in New York. Very, very sweet. I was really looking forward to their ceremony at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Philadelphia. I love the golden beauty of orthodox churches and Saint Georges is also very historic. Check back for their portraits in old city Philadelphia and a lovely reception at the Union League.

Alex hid out on the beautiful staircase so we would have time for photographs in Old City!

Congratulations to Linda and Greg on their engagement! We had a little walk in the park near my home to take a few portraits. I’ll be photographing their wedding on the campus of Princeton University in April of 2011. Looking forward to being back at Princeton University Chapel!
