Two rainy Saturdays in a row! What’s happening Philadelphia! Lauren and Michael had planned for some iconic Philadelphia couple portraits. They were lucky enough to have the rain subside for their portraits, but the rain came back big time when we attempted images with their bridal party. Wedding planner Rebecca of The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants kept the day running so smoothly. Their ceremony and reception was held at The Mansion in Voorhees, NJ. There was so much love and warmth going around it really didn’t matter that it rained.
Brides Magazine/WPJA Winning Image
I was very honored to be chosen by Brides Magazine as a first place winner in their 2009 Wedding Photojournalist contest. Images are selected from hundreds wedding photojournalists from around the world so it’s quite an honor. My image placed first in their CULTURE/CUSTOMS category. The image was taken at Uma and Jacks beautiful Morristown, NJ wedding back in August of 2008. It can be seen in the current issue of Brides Magazine. Congratulations to Uma for being featured!
Marissa + Justin 10-11-09 Part 2
Marissa told me that she and her mother had been working on all the special details her wedding for over a year. You could see the personal touches everywhere; the fall pear place cards, the bridal down doll to hold all the gift cards. The Rockleigh Country Club was transformed by Brian of The Flower Shoppe in New City, NY. It shows how lighting can totally transform the mood. Beautiful job everyone!
Marissa + Justin 10.11.09 Part 1
This must have been the weekend for brides with bling! Marissa had a dazzling crystal covered Pnina Tornai gown from Kleinfeld Bridal New York. She even have a veil covered with crystals! The couple were married at the historic Saint Anns Church in Nyack NY. Check out the marvelous flowers adorning the aisle. This is just a taste of things to come. Wait until you see the reception. YIKES! That will have to wait until Monday. Marissa and Justin had a balloon release after their ceremony. Very cute!
Jennifer + Benjamin 10.10.09 Part 3
This was my first time photographing a wedding ceremony at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. As you can see, with the setting sun it was just a perfect setting for their vows. The reception was oh so “pretty in pink”. They had their names projected in one wall in the same font used in their invitations all created by Two Paper Dolls.
