On our way to Kara and Boo’s wedding reception at The Reeds at Shelter Haven we had to stop off at the beach for some portraits. And what a perfect beach day it was! Blue skies and a gentle breeze. Kara and Boo found the most charming wedding chapel at the Jersey Shore. The Maris Stella Chapel, Avalon, NJ. It was adorably rustic and charming. Kara and her dad arrived at the chapel all full of happiness and giggles! And the couple could not have been happier departing in the grooms own convertible Porsche, complete with cans attached! What a perfect day for a beach wedding! I was so excited to be down in Cape May County for my first beach wedding of the year. Making is ever so special was the reunion of so many of my past and future brides. Many of Kara’s friends and family have commissioned me to photograph their wedding day. So honored and happy to see everyone. Even Kara’s wedding planner Beka Rendell of the Styled Bride was one of my brides many moons ago! And Beka’s sister, event planner Rachel Nave Hobgood, maid of honor at Beka’s wedding was assisting at the wedding. Like I said it was old home week and what fun it was!  Kara prepared for her wedding at her families beach house and Boo prepared at the Reeds, where their reception would later be held.
