One of the items that I offer than many of my clients are unfamiliar with are proof albums. In this digital age they are fast becoming a thing of the past, so much so that I need to import them from abroad! Yes, I love viewing and sharing my images online, but there is something very special about about flipping though a storybook of all your wedding images. As a photojournalist, who always shoots with a second photographer I always deliver more that 1,000 finished images. It the entire story of my couples wedding day. I picture my couples sitting there with their grandchildren, flipping through pages and sharing the day were it all began. MY could receive a personalized 2 volume proof album set with fill size first edition prints. I know they are becoming old fashioned…… but I love them and hope you do too!
Morven Museum Weddings Revisited
Another wedding venue on my list of favorites in New Jersey is the Morven Museum in Princeton, NJ. A historic landmark, the Morven Museum was once the New Jersey Governors mansion. I just adore the country charm (in the city) of my tented Morven weddings!
Rat’s Resturant Weddings Revisited
I am revisiting some of my favorite wedding venues in New Jersey and a must on the list is Rat’s Restaurant on the Grounds for Sculpture. I have photographed weddings from 20 guests to 200 and it has always been magical!
Jasna Polana Weddings Revisited
I just adore Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ. It reminds me of my many trips to Europe, and rightly so as many parts of it’s architecture are from Europe. Romantic story, John Seward Johnson built the mansion for his 3rd wife Barbara. She was Polish and missed Europe. In the 1970’s he brought a piece of Europe to her. Definitely and beautiful and romantic place to be wed!
Congress Hall Weddings Revisited
In my series of favorite New Jersey wedding venues I always have to include historic Congress Hall in Cape May. From the bridal preparations in the robins egg blue rooms to the checkerboard dance floor, it’s Victorian charm is just perfection. And let’s not forget, I get a day at the beach!
