Something so very romantic about your first look together on your wedding day and your portraits in the backyard of the home you grew up. As high school sweethearts they probably spent many fun evenings with family and friends here. They even had a portrait in front of the family moose, which was adorned with flowers for the big day. And let’s talk about her bouquet…. gardenias! Their scent just filled the air as she passed. You definitely don’t need perfume when you have a gardenia bouquet! All the beautiful bouquets were by sisters Mary and Dawn of A Garden Party. I can’t wait to share their ceremony and reception decor later in the week! Princeton Home Wedding of Rachel + Rob

Rachel and Rob met at a Princeton High School football game back in 2004 and have been together ever since. I love LOVE! Now after college and careers it was time for the “I DO”. Rachel and Rob could not think of a more perfect venue than her family home in Princeton, NJ. It was a perfect day for a home wedding, sunshine and not too hot! I loved her something blue shoes by Jimmy Choo! Wedges are so perfect for an outdoor wedding as she never “sunk” into the ground! Her shinion was spectacular with the added touch of a gardenia!

Rat’s Resturant Wedding of Bea + Joseph

It was such a treat to photograph Bea and Joseph’s intimate Rat’s Restaurant wedding. If I ever wanted to tie the knot again an intimate wedding at  Rat’s Restaurant would be my first choice. We started the day with a whimsical walk through The Ground for Sculpture.  It was just fun and games for this pair as they laughed their way though most of the day. You could just see the fun life ahead of them! As special little detail was the heart the Bea made from her mothers wedding dress. It was her way of have her mother at the ceremony. Happy life Bea and Joseph!

Sayen Gardens Engagement Portraits of Devon + Kevin

Engagements

For all my couples I offer a complimentary engagement portrait session at a beautiful botanical garden local to my offices. I am so fortunate to have such a gorgeous location nearby. Because of the diversity of all the flora the portraits look different every time I’m there. I want to remind my couples that fall foliage is fast approaching! Devon and Kevin were in the gardens at the peak of Summer. You can see how lush the gardens was this year. I will be photographing their Princeton University wedding next June with a magical (and culinary) reception at Rat’s Restaurant on The Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. Congratulations Devon and Kevin!
