And we were off to a beautiful and classic wedding reception at the Aronimink Golf Club. We strolled the manicured grounds for some lovely couple portraits before a very Greek wedding reception. It’s been years since I photographed a wedding at the beautiful Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Luke. I’ve always remembered the spectacular gold dome. So beautiful and so dramatic!  Maria prepared for her wedding at her mothers home and there was a very special gift from her mother waiting outside for her, a horse drawn carriage that brought her and her brother  to the church! And let’s talk about rice….. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen such a display of rice. After Maria and Daniel wed they drove off in a vintage Rolls to their wedding reception at Aronimink Golf Club. Though I have photographed wedding receptions at Pomme this was  my first time photographing a wedding ceremony at Pomme. What a beautiful location amongst the woods manicured lawn! Table Art did such a marvelous job with the ceremony and reception. So full of unique country charm. Lavender just filled the air from beginning to end. Check out the place card table. It really is my favorite “country charming” place card table ever! Love it!!! And what fun working with the wonderful wedding planner Gina Sole two weeks in a row!  Stefanie and Larry’s children walked them down the aisle and stood by their side during the ceremony and then everyone then partied the night away. As they said on their welcome board…. it was the wedding celebration of their first love…. last love…

I was just so happy to be back at Pomme in Radnor, PA. It’s just such a perfect and magical setting for a springtime wedding. The smell of lavender was in the air thanks to the beautiful flowers and décor of Table Art. The wedding of Stefanie and Larry was actually a real life “Brady Bunch”. The two dated in high school and went their separate ways. They married and were the parents of a son and a daughter. Years later they were single again and they met up and formed a wonderful and loving family. They wedding was about celebrating family. Their children were such an essential part of their wedding day. They walked their parents down the aisle and stood by their sides under the chuppah.
