The Kailua Farmers Market was last night. What a treat to attend a farmers market in January. I guess there is always a farmers market somewhere in the world! Aloha!
Wolves, They love this weather
Last month I had a very special afternoon visiting the Howling Woods Farm, located in Jackson, NJ. The farm is a breed-specific animal shelter that rescues and places domestic bred wolves, and wolfdog hybrids. I did not know people were breading these beautiful creatures to live in homes. Turns out when the pups are 7 months old they are tearing down the house. Most are given to shelters. So sad!!!! This wonderful shelter is able to find homes for them when they can run free. You must visit this farm sometime. It was such a great experience.
Byodo-In Temple in O’ahu
A bit of Japan in Hawaii. Japan is definitely on my bucket list of places I plan to visit. For now I have the Byodo-In Temple. It was built to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. The temple is a smaller-scale replica of the over 950-year-old Byodo-in Temple, in Uji, Japan.
Somewhere That’s Green….. and Warm!
Well it’s January and it’s naturally cold, and icy and dark in New Jersey. I did not book any weddings for he month so I saw it was an omen that I needed to go somewhere that’s green. I can work just as well from a sunny and warm lanai as my office back home! So here I am in beautiful Hawaii for the month. I rented an apartment to see how I like island life. I’ll still be working so please feel free to call or email me. This was a great idea! Aloha!
Please Touch Museum Wedding of Hailey + Greg – Part 2
Let the fun begin! We arrived at the Please Touch Museum in Fairmount Park Philadelphia for some more fun portraits inside the museum. The couple first boarded a SEPTA bus and Greg took Hailey for a little ride. Hailey and Greg had such fun playing around the the piano from the movie “Big“. So light on their feet I saw traces of Fred and Ginger! We then had to stop to get this couple married. After their ceremony the couple took a ride on the vintage carousel located in the museum. It was then on to an evening of partying and dancing to the tunes of CTO Tribecca
