Please Touch Museum Wedding of Hailey + Greg – Part 1

It’s been awhile since I’ve photographed a wedding at the Please Touch Museum. Certainly one of the most playful locations in Philadelphia. Before we arrived at the venue we stopped at a few of Philadelphia’s iconic locations for portraits such as Broad Street and the Rodin Museum. On our way to their venue we searched for one of the last remaining trees in Fairmount Park with foliage, and as you see, we found it!

Bridal Bouquets of 2013 – Happy New Years!

Looking forward to all the beautiful weddings I will be photographing in 2014 and thought I’d look back on the lovely eye candy bouquets I had the opportunity to photograph in 2013. There seemed to be a trend towards “pinky white pastels” but there were many pretty exceptions. So wonderful to work with many talented floral designers this year including Table Art, Beautiful Blooms, Nancy Saam, Manic Botanic, MDS Floral Design and Viburnum Design to name a few. Wedding Shoes of 2013

With a new year soon upon us I thought I would do a little reflection on all the stunning wedding shoes I had the pleasure to photograph in 2013. Metallic, sparkling, silver and gold seemed to be a real trend. One thing I don’t believe I’d ever seen was the popularity of one single shoe brand and style. Six of my brides chose the Jimmy Choo Glitter Peep Toe Pump. Though they varied in heal height, my 6 brides said they choose the “Choos” for the combination of beauty and comfort. I’m looking forward to all the beautiful eye candy (or is that foot candy) that my 2014 brides will be bringing me in the coming year! Happy New Year!

Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) Wedding of Becka + Larry (Part 2)

PAFA has always been dear to my heart as a wedding venue. The architecture, the vibrant colors, and let’s not forget that grand staircase. It was wonderful to be working again at PAFA with Beautiful Blooms. Over the years we have done so many spectacular weddings at PAFA. So happy to to have shared one more. Becka and Larry exchanged their vows under the beautiful chuppah on the grand staircase of PAFA and then the vibrant party started!

It’s been several years since I’ve photographed a wedding at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, otherwise know as PAFA. It’s a most beautiful venue filled with fabulous architecture and art, and I’ll be sharing Becka and Larry s ceremony and reception in my next blog post.
