I was so excited to be photographing another wedding at Oheka Castle. It’s like traveling to a destination wedding in Europe without the flight! Even though Spring was late to arrive in the Northeast and there were no trees in bloom you can see how absolutely stunning the grounds still were. Ruth and Matthew planned just a picture perfect day right down to some amazing lighting in the ballroom!

Grounds for Sculpture Engagement Portraits of Ashley + James

Engagements

It was a picture perfect Spring evening at the Grounds for Sculpture for Ashley and James engagement session. I’ve know Ashley since she was a teenage aspiring model. Watching her successful international modeling career grow has been so exciting, but best of all has been the love that she has found in James. This past year has not been the best for Ashley. Last fall she was diagnosed with cancer for a second time. Her positivity, faith and hope have been an inspiration to all of us who know her. Ashley and James are planning a most charming Southern wedding next April in her home town in North Carolina. I can’t wait to photograph it!

Well, can a girl ever have too many wedding dresses? Kaveri changes into her 3rd wedding gown prior to her reception at the Horticulture Center in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park. What a grand time everyone had dancing the hora!

So down went the Mandap and up went the Chuppah! With a short cocktail reception between ceremonies the couple prepared for their Jewish ceremony. We even found time for a few couple portraits!
