What a perfect wedding day it was. The autumn leaves were at their peak, the golden late afternoon sun was perfect and the romantic pair were just glowing. If you throw in the beautiful grounds of Cairnwood and Bryn Athyn Cathedral I think I had perfection. There were some many images I loved I had to do a little gallery.

I was so honored when Jessica and Michael chose me to photograph their wedding. Jessica is a professional wedding photographer so it is always extra special. They prepared for their beautiful day at Cairnwood Mansion in Bryn Athyn, PA. The bridal suite at Cairnwood just Pops with the most luscious natural light. Jessica wore an Alita Gram for Kleinfelds gown paired with sparkly Badgley Mishca shoes. Her beautiful headpiece was by Maria Elena, one of my favorites. The couple had their reveal on the grand staircase of Cairnwood Mansion. An emotional moment for this romantic pair, it brought tears to both of their eyes. Food is good!
Food is a beautiful thing, and as anyone who knows me can attest to, I LOVE my food. It is one of life’s wonderful sensual experiences. It’s not only the taste, but the smells, the many textures and yes, the beautiful look of food. One of my guilty pleasures is photographing food. I can have my cake and remember it in images for years to come. When not photographing weddings I can be found photographing for for some top Restaurants like Lacroix at The Rittenhouse and Rats Restaurant at the Grounds for Sculpture in New Jersey. I’ve been on a diet for the past month so my food pictures have been looking especially tasty to me. I’ve lost 12 pounds!!!!! YEAH!!!! It’s much better for the waistline to photograph food than eat it.

Keely and Tom’s New Years Eve wedding was truly about the coming together of not only a couple but of family and friends. It was very importation to Keely that her daughter Savannah enjoy and be a part of this most important day in their lives.A family of creatives, all the family and many friends in the wedding industry came together to help create this most special event. Keely is a designer for her mothers long time company Ilonka Floral Decorators and has worked on numerous weddings for her couples. You can imagine she was very hand on with her own wedding. Amazing but try she even built the flower wall for her wedding day. Quite a feat as it did take several days. Her brother is the owner of Merryweather films and he did the videography. The brides parents BFF’s Beke Beau and Christopher Carlson added their many talents to the day along with florist friend Margaux St Ledger. After midnight the couple even had a visit fron a small Mummers Brigade.
