Brittany + Michael’s Long Branch Wedding – 06.23.12

What a classically elegant wedding with so many special details making their day so personal for their guests and family. Brittney’s bridesmaids greeted me at the door of her family home in personalized robes. Such a great detail they will always have to remember this day. She presented her bridesmaids with a selection of earrings that they were able to choose their favorites. I just loved that idea. Most special were the gifts that the bride and groom presented to each other. They did not know what the other was giving but they both gave each other matching Rolex watches. How perfectly matched is this pair? Brittany wore a very formal and beautiful Kenneth Pool gown. The couple were wed in a Roman Catholic ceremony at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Long Branch, NJ. Be prepared for a stellar reception to come!

Some Old Sweden!

I finished working on all my images from my recent trip to the Baltic region. I though I would share snippets  with you in the coming months, in between all the posts of my weddings. I thought I would start with some images from the Skansen Open Air Museum in Stockholm, Sweden. It’s sort of the Colonial Williamsburg of Sweden. They brought old homes and barns to Skansen as a living history museum. I must admit a certain passion for photographing portend old things.

Philadelphia Wedding Reception of Callie + Chris – 06.16.12

The staff at TableArt were able to turn the tent around from ceremony site to reception site in record time, all while guests enjoyed enjoyed cocktails and food by the wonderful Max Hanson Catering. With long tables and white peonies, the feel under the tent was classic country charm. There were various cupcake for guests to choose from by Whipped Bakeshop. I will testify that they make the best butter-cream frosting in the world! A perfect end to a perfect day!

Philadelphia Home Weddng Ceremony of Callie + Chris – 06.16.12

When I was an actress it was an extra special treat to work in a theater in the round. This was my first “wedding in the round”  and it was just lovely!  The sailcloth tent by EventQuip caught the shadows of the afternoon sun through the trees making the tent glow with natures lighting. In the Greek tradition, Callies grandmother placed connected crowns on the couples heads. The two stayed connected even after leaving the ceremony, as I’m sure they will in life.
