Colorful Cuba
I finished up work on my Cuban images and I’m so anticipating my wedding season which begins Saturday. I’m also planning where my summer adventure will be. I thought I share a few of my color images of Cuba. The aging architecture of Havana and Trinidad really lent itself to the intense color pf Giclée prints. I can’t wait to get my finished prints. Here are a few of my favorites. I’ll have a few more black & whites later in the week.
Lavender Revisted…
I’m starting to get “Spring Fever” thinking about all the blooms that will be arriving. I thought I share a few more images of the Lavender field shoot that I did last year. It’s going to be featured in an international magazine in July. The sweet summer flower girl dresses were from Strasburg Children and the bouquets were from Beautiful Blooms. The bridal dress was actually a vintage 1970’s Gunne Sax bridal by Jessica McClintock that I purchased on eBay! The little hippie in me fell in love with it, as did our model!
Love Was in the Air at the Horticulture Center
Right before I left for my tropic escape in February I photographed a lovely event at the Horticulture Center in Philadelphia. What a perfect location for a “winter wedding” Even though Philadelphia was covered in snow outside it was warm, green and very tropical indoors. Who needs to go to the Caribbean for you wedding? Steven Starr Events is now the exclusive Caterer so you knew the treats were luscious. Table Art designed the beautiful entry which lead into the candlelit ceremony. I adored the lace chuppah. You would never guess it was February in the northeast! Table Art also designed all the tabletops and place card tables. The beautiful lighting that enhanced the venue was by Synergetic Sounds & Lighting. The Papery of Philadelphia provided all the stationary and Kimberly Fink of Styled Creative adorned all the food stations in her shabby chic style! What a wonderful sendoff I had to the tropics!
Shoes on The Brides Cafe
It warmed me up on a chilly Spring day to see my friend Janie of The Brides Cafe was featuring some of my favorite wedding shoes of my 2010 wedding season. You can vote for your favorite but I think I’ll have one of each. Check them out at The Brides Cafe!
