They were back to where it all began, the beautiful campus of Villanova University. It was my first time photographing in the Villanova Chapel and as you can see if was just perfect. After their ceremony the couple took a stroll to a bench on the university campus…. the very bench where Michael proposed to Elizabeth. How romantic!
Villanova Wedding of Elizabeth + Michael – 06.30.12
You saw their engagement portraits yesterday now here is their fabulous wedding day! Villanova University was place where their romance began and grew. It was even where Michael proposed to Elizabeth. This was the perfect setting for their early Summer wedding. Liz was just pure classic elegance! From the top of her Reem Acra gown to the bottom of her Christian Louboutin shoes. I could not stop looking at those sparkly cap sleeves. Her lovely hair and makeup was by Adolf Biecker salon. She totally pulled together a very “Grace Kelly” look. Her dad serenaded her in the grand piano; something Liz always enjoyed growing up. Liz’s bridesmaids wore Vera Wang as they gleefully departed for the ceremony at Villanova Chapel.
Oh Lovely Day
Very funny. I was just about to post the beautiful wedding of Elizabeth and Michael when I received an email from Chandra at Oh Lovely Day wedding inspiration blog that the couples engagement portrait session from last summer was being featured. I’ll be starting to post their Villanova wedding tomorrow.
The Engagement of Julianne + Ashwin
Well, it’s about time I posted the engagement portraits of Julie and Ashwin. The cute pair will be married in less than 2 weeks at the beautiful Bonnet Island Estate. The portraits were taken earlier this year on the campus of Princeton University where the couple met as undergraduates. What a perfect location for their engagement portraits…. back to where it all began. Can’t wait to see them in a few weeks!
Eagle Oaks CC Wedding of Brittany + Michael – 06.23.12
On our way to Brittany and Micheal’s wedding reception we stopped off at Monmouth University for some couple and family portraits. We took portraits at the mansion that was used as the “Daddy Warbucks” house in the film Anne. You know it was going to be beautiful. We then arrived at the beautiful Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale, NJ for their opulent wedding reception. So many beautiful details. The flowers and decor were by Anderson Flowers and there with many special touches such as signature drinks to a guest gift of a personalized cookbook with specialized recipes of family and friends. The couple made their very festive entrance through an arch of wait staff holding pyrotechnic Champagne bottles! That was a first for me!!! My only concern was when Brittany’s dad pulled out his speech! Everyone gasped! Good thing it was all in good fun! The couple and their guests all danced the night away to the tunes of Hank Lanes Rhythm Review! I can’t wait to see their video by Fiore Films. It was quite a party!
