Nicole and Jungs wedding not only included the traditional reception feast and dancing, but later in the evening they had a tradition Korean tea ceremony. Nicole had such a beautiful yellow organdy dress made in Korea. I just loved the matching yellow shoes. The predictions from the tea ceremony are that Nicole and Jung will be the proud and busy parents of 12 children!
Le Méridien Wedding Ceremony of Nicole + Jung – 09.17.11
This was my first time at the new Le Méridien in Philadelphia. The former YMCA, it’s been transformed into a perfect mix of historic charm and contemporary style. Florist, Nancy Saam fashioned the beautiful flowers for the ceremony!
Philadelphia Wedding Portraits of Nicole + Jung – 09.17.11
It seems that most of September my weddings were all in Center and old city Philadelphia, hence many of my formal portraits were all in many of the same locations. The Second Bank of the United States was a popular location along with Love Park. Though the local may be the same, the unique style of each couple make the portraits different. The beautiful flowers and decor were by Nancy Saam Flowers. Check back for her beautiful decor at the reception.
Philadelphia Wedding Preperations of Nicole + Jung – 09.17.11
I was excited to be photographing Jung and Nicole’s wedding at Le Méridien Hotel. It is one of Philadelphia’s newer hotels and I had heard such wonderful things about it. It is once the Philadelphia YMCA and Le Méridien transformed it into a beautiful hotel keeping all it’s historic features. The couple both prepared at the hotel and the groom even stopped by to have his hair done by Nicole’s hairstylist! Very special to note, the brides sister designed the couples invitations.
99% – Visiting Occupy Wall Street
This time of year I sort of become a one trick wedding pony. It was so great to finally have a Sunday off with my grandson Zac. He and his friend wanted to visit Zuccotti Park in New York to see the supporters of Occupy Wall Street. Zac and Paul had such a great “teen” time. There were many “signs” for them to display and they got to see John Oliver of the Daily Show doing interviews and let’s not forget cat hat man! A great time was had by all.
