As we drove from center city Philadelphia to Glen Foerd Mansion on the backs of the Delaware River the rain finally stopped. Though it was a little too chancy for Michelle and Geoff to have their wedding outdoors on the river, we did get the most amazing portraits. There is nothing as beautiful as a cloudy day in May! It’s a perfect soft-box! Robertson’s Flowers of Philadelphia designed all the beautiful flowers and decor. Everyone partied the night away to the tunes of EBE – Barcelona!

Philadelphia Wedding of Michelle + Geoff – 05.14.11
I thought these fluffy little Badgley Mischka shoes would put a smile on your face. Check out those adorable soles! She matched her purple shoes with her grooms purple tie! Macille also had an ever so fluffy Jim Hjelm gown. Michelle prepared for her wedding day in the bridal suite of the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia and Claudia Seyler was on hand for hair and makeup . Everything was perfect except for one small detail. Rain! Michelle and Geoff were planning a beautiful outdoor ceremony at a very historic Delaware riverfront mansion. As you will see, a little rain can’t dampen a loving wedding day at a beautiful location. Before departing for their ceremony at Glen Foerd Mansion, Michelle and Geoff posed for their iconic Broad Street portrait….. under the umbreaal!
Franklin Institute Wedding of Danielle + Michael – 05.07.11
I was anticipating what was in store for me at Danielle and Michael’s reception at the Franklin Institute. The ballroom at the Franklin Institute always takes my breath away and with Evantine Design on hand to do décor and flowers I knew it would really be special. There were so many unique little details on each table I could have spent all night photographing them all. Eventions Productions provided the stellar lighting for the room that made everything just pop! Danielle and Michael seemed to enjoy every last detail of their day as they danced the night away to the music of their band, NYC Swing.
Philadelphia Wedding Portraits of Danielle + Michael – 05.07.11
The rooftop of the Franklin Institute….. that’s all I am going to say! The backdrop for Danielle and Micheal’s portraits were just magic!
