Congratulations to Danielle and Michael on the beautiful feature magazine article on their May wedding at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia in Brides Philadelphia Magazine. The rotunda of the Franklin Institute is just so grand; and combined with the lighting of Eventions Productions and the flowers and decor of Evantine Design I can definitely see why it caught the eye of the photo editors over at Brides Philadelphia. 
The decor for the ceremony and reception for Tammy and Erik’s wedding at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Philadelphia was just spectacular! Their ceremony in the grand ballroom was lit in hues of orange and pink by Eventions Productions and the gorgeous chuppah was by Evantine Design. In only an hour they transformed the room to a most opulent reception. Amazing! Van Earls Cakes made the big beautiful cake that was the finishing touch to their beautiful room. Tammy and Erik danced the night away with with big smiles all evening! 
This weekend I was commissioned to photograph two weddings and both had to be postponed due to hurricane Irene. How heartbreaking for all the couples along the eastern seaboard who had their wedding plans dashed. In my 12 years of photographing I have only had weather postpone one wedding and the couple eventually had a picture perfect wedding day. So beautiful it was featured in The Knot magazine, and they are happily married 10 years later. So don’t worry, hurricane brides, your day will come. I thought I’d share one of my favorite rainy day wedding images. Rainy day weddings can be beautiful, hurricane weddings….. not so much!
Prior to their wedding ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Philadelphia, Tammy and Erik allowed for a lot of time for couple portraits all around the city of Philadelphia. With their bridal party and family we covered everything from Old City, Center City to Fairmount Park. Cinematographer, Dave Williams of CinemaCake went around the city with us to film all their portraits . I saw the video trailer of the day and it really brought a tear to me eye. Tammy’s beautiful bouquets was by Evantine Design and were perfect for a warm summer day. Check back for Evantines beautiful decor of Tammy and Erik’s ceremony and reception. 
I’m back from my trip to Germany and my images from this trip will be one of my winter projects to share with everyone. For now, I have many beautiful summer weddings to share. I have a very beautiful wedding with some of my very favorite Philadelphia wedding professionals. From start finish the wedding took place at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The beautiful invitations were by Two Paper Dolls. On hand to see the day ran smoothly was Ky Williams of Evantine Design and the amazing Claudia Seyler did Tammy’s hair and makeup. Tammy and Erik chose to have a “first see” in the beautiful lobby of the Ritz-Carlton prior to departing for a tour around the city of Philadelphia for some romantic wedding day portraits.
